icWales Business Search
A useful website from the Western Mail and icWales - you can search for businesses in Wales, and find basic details including a map.

The Wales Index
This site has maintained a reasonable number of listings and is fairly easy to use. Also available in regional formats: choose from North Wales Index, Mid Wales Index, South Wales Index, and West Wales Index. This list is manually maintained - listings are free, but it can take months to get listed.

Contract Shop
A useful directory listing 4000 businesses in Wales. Search by keyword, category or area.

Local business directories tend are rare, and tend to disappear without a trace, but here are a few to try:

A useful listing of businesses on the Ceredigion website.

Powys Web
Includes business listings.

This is South Wales Business Directory - Seems to have gone missing, I'm waiting for them to tell me where it's gone! But it was probably the best of the regional directories - "comprehensive business database containing 44,000 companies in the South Wales region". From South West Wales Publishers who produce the local newspapers.

Pembrokeshire Chamber
The website of the Pembrokeshire Chamber of Commerce has a full member listing with links to a searchable online members database and links to members web sites.
